Entry: Happy Chinese New Year.. Monday, January 30, 2006

First off, Happy Chinese New Year to all of you.. (chinese or not..) what the heck, we're Malaysians. We celebrate everything!

Hmm.. how was Chinese New Year for me? Simply not the great. My car got broken into... Sad Happened sometime between 0130 - 1500 on the 1st day of Chinese New Year

  • Front passenger side window smashed
  • Mum's Nikon camera stolen (from glovebox)
  • $$ worth about RM 20...gone..

All that was left (or rather 'strewn' all over my seat and the floor of my car) were shattered glass pieces, my photos, bills, compact powder, lip gloss - basically everything from he glove box. Oh yeah, and a small purse filled with one cent coins (what a kind soul to at least leave that) Hurmph The thief was quite happy with my digital camera I suppose, coz he didn't touch my CD player. He sure did empty the ashtray filled with coins though.. BUT placed the ashtray back in its place (see.. i told you.. kind soul)

Sigh. What a way to begin the Lunar Year.

I guess in a way its my fault too for leaving valuables in my car. Lucky my dad was around. I think I would've freaked out and panicked if I came down and saw my car broken into like that. We made a police report and all that jazz.. Then, a detective & photographer came to the 'crime scene'... As the photographer went *click*click*, I felt like we were shooting for CSI..

wrong timing, I know. But damn syok wei...!

**knocks self on head**  "you're suppose to be mourning now!"

No way, I ain't gonna let some idiot ruin my New Year... I'm gonna sit back, SMILE and thank god it wasn't something worse (eg: what if he attacked me instead!?!)

The only sucky thing is I don't have a car to use till end of the week
(unless I drive around with the broken window pretending its a horizontal convertible Tongue hey. That actually sounds like a good idea. Maybe I'll just do that!)
